Wild Rice Co. is an art and design studio – a vision brought to life.
Founded in 2022 from my home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I combine the skills
of a fine artist with the passion of a small-space designer.
Beginning
My story is a blend of two worlds. Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in the rustic landscapes of Pennsylvania after being adopted from an orphanage at the age of three, my art is not just a medium for self-expression but a deeply personal journey. Starting as a hobby to fill the quiet moments while my son napped, my artistry has evolved into a professional career, a journey that is evident in every piece I create.
The name Wild Rice Co. is a tribute to my Korean American heritage, symbolizing the fusion of cultures and colors, much like wild rice itself.
What I Do
​I draw inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of Asia and the wonders of nature – cherry blossoms, floral motifs, and richly textured brush strokes. These themes captivate me and allow me to honor my roots.
My love for transforming small spaces connects me with local eateries such as SeoulMates Korean Kitchen and Hello Mango Bakery. Hand painting logos while adding unique touches to create a distinctly unique ambiance.

My ultimate collaboration would be with Anthropologie to design a window display that pays homage to diverse Asian heritages and fosters cultural appreciation.
